In the week ending August 28, the Turkish polypropylene industry was still under pressure due to economic challenges, mainly high interest rates. This continued to put pressure on market participants. CFR Turkey PP Fiber Spot Prices at $1140/mt are down $30 from the previous week. PP homopolymer and raffia price also dropped during the week. According to sources on the market, the Turkish PP market continues to face difficult conditions mainly due to a tough economic climate.
