Prices for polyoxymethylene CIF China remained unchanged between Jan. 22 and 28, at $1,500/mt, which is below the offer range of $1.550 to $1.600/mt. The Asian polyoxymethylene markets saw stable prices despite the lack of market activity. Producers and traders kept their prices in place prior to the Lunar New Year holidays. Unknown to the trader, their supplier in Northeast Asia informed them of the impending price increases. The trader said that the supplier had informed them of the impending price hikes for goods shipped beginning Feb. 5. However, the exact amount is still unknown. In the interim, we will keep our selling prices the same as the previous week. We will adjust our pricing accordingly after the Lunar New Year (holiday period)."
