Prices of polymeric methylenediphenyldiisocyanate increased in the week ending June 14, due to a further increase in containerized cargo rates, as a result of issues with container availability. The price of slabstock polyol remained unchanged during the same time period. Offers were heard at the same levels for the majority of the week. Containerfreight is being discussed at $3,500-$5,000/TEU from South Korea to India, which is around four-five times the normal freightlevel, said the trader. He added that containerfreight from South Korea to India is being discussed for $3,500 to $5,000/TEU, which is four to five times more than the usual freightlevel.
