Asia Polyols and Isocyanates: Prices fall due to weak demand, slabstock offers lower / Domestic PMDI lower than last week / No update for Chinese and Thai slabstock

Prices of Asia polymeric methylene-diphenyl-diisocyanate fell during the week beginning Nov. 1, due to the availability of ample materials. Slabstock polyol was also down, due to lower offers and the lack any updates regarding the ADD implementation in Thailand and China. Kandla and Mumbai were closed due to the holiday season. Domestic and import trading was not heard and activity was low during the second half of the week. Polymeric MDI was $2,165/mt at CFR India. This is down $10/mt from the previous week. Slabstock polyol was $1,195/mt. This is down $85/mt. The CFR India selling indicators/offers for PMDI were unchanged from the previous weeks at $2,200-2,300/mt CFR India.
