Asia Polyols and Isocyanates: CFR India Prices Stable amid Thin Activity / Prices of polymeric MDIs remain stable in the domestic market / Container freight heard to be stable or lower

Prices of polymeric methylenediphenyldiisocyanate (PDDI) and slabstocks polyol were steady this week despite limited market activity. Offers heard remained at the same level as the previous week. CFR India polymeric MDI is stable at $2.375/mt. The price of polymeric MDI remained unchanged this week, and was heard between $2,380 and $2,400/mt CFR India. India's ex-tank prices were stable and were heard at Rupee 215/kg on July 12. Container freight prices were lower, with a range of $3,000 to $3500/TEU for Taiwan/Thailand and South Korea. A trader in India said that the container freight, which was stable over the past few weeks, has weakened this week because of slightly improved container availability.
