The Asian polycarbonate (PC) spot market remained stable inthe week ended Sept. 11 amid low buying interest.General purpose-grade PC stable on the dayand on the week at $1,810/mt CFR China Sept. 11, in line withtradable indications heard at $1,810/mt.extrusion-grade PC unchanged on the dayand on the week at $1,820/mt CFR China, reflecting tradableindication heard at the level.In China, demand remains weak, with no signs of recovery assoftened upstream crude and feedstock costs continue to weighon the market. Buyers are holding off, awaiting further price drops. Market sources described inventory levels as moderate despite the lacklusterdemand. It is too early to tell whether CFR prices are going to rise or fall; we need to closely monitor the situation," said a Chineseproducer.
