In the week ending August 7, the downward trend in the Asian polyethylene Terephthalate FOB Northeast Asia continues, mirroring the trends in China's domestic yarn and polyester sectors. FOB Southeast Asian prices are also largely unchanged. Market sources reported that regional producers in Northeast Asia have reduced their offers due to the sluggish market demand.
