Asian polyethylene terephthalate markets were mixed for the week ended Nov. 20, with prices stable in Northeast Asia and mildly lower in Southeast Asia. Asian PET bottle flake stable on the week at $795/mt FOB NEA as of Nov. 20. Meanwhile, FOB SE Asia PET bottle flake was assessed down $10/mt on the week at $865/mt over the same period. In Northeast Asia, market participants described prices as stable, with balanced supply and demand and reduced supply due to recent maintenance on certain plants.
