Asian polyethylene-terephthalate market conditions were mixed in the week ending Nov. 6. Prices in Northeast Asia remained stable, while Southeast Asia saw a slight decline. According to sources, the offer price for PET bottles in Northeast Asia remained stable during the week ending Nov. 6 despite lower demand in early November. In the previous months, there was a greater buying interest as downstream buyers actively replenished, particularly in September and October. The market has slowed down for this month due to these purchases being completed. A Chinese producer stated that "the peak season is over...
