South Asian polyethylene price levels remained stable during the week ending September 11 due to unchanged discussion levels on prices and stable fundamentals in the market. A stable to firmer PE price market is expected to emerge in the next few days. Some market participants have indicated that future offers may be higher due to an increase in demand. A domestic producer stated that the overall PE market was stable and some grades were showing a slight upward trend. Discussion levels for certain PE grades have also increased. Price ideas for LDPE films remained the same throughout the week, and the most tradable indicators were between $1,100 and $1,130/mt.
