Asian propylene was stable during the week ending September 27th, as the demand for it cooled down after China's preholiday stock replenishment ended. Southeast Asia's activity was sluggish, with buyers maintaining sufficient inventories. They also showed no urgency to replenish. The lack of buyers in Southeast Asia kept regional trade discussions at a low level. Due to the lack of buyers from Southeast Asia, many sellers turned their attention back to China in search of potential demand. A week-long holiday in China also reduced Chinese interest in imported cargoes. Weak production margins in South Korea limited demand.
