Asian PVC prices rise $5 to $15/mt following June price increase / June Offer $20-$30/mt per month / CFR India reaches 8-month high

Asian polyvinylchloride increased $5-$15/mt from week to week May 21 after a price hike for June was approved by buyers. The CFR India price increased $15/mt from week to week, reaching $845/mt on May 21. This is the highest price since Sept. 20,2023 when the CFR India price was $850/mt CFR India. A $20-$30/mt increase in June was accepted by buyers. According to market sources, the price of an offer based on CFR China increased $20/mt compared to a month ago to $795/mt. The price of an offer based on CFR India increased $30/mt compared to May to $830/mt. According to sources, an offer FOB Taiwan increased $20/mt in May to $750/mt. According to traders, the freightrates from China to India have been increasing. They reached $95/mt in early May...
