Sources claim that the Asian propylene
markets saw prices drop as demand was weak, despite a slight rise in Chinese
domestic prices on June 15. CFR China remained unchanged at
$735/mt, while FOB Korea decreased by $5/mt per day to $700/mt. This caused a
difference of $35/mt between the two markers. Based on
tradeable indications, the Chinese propylene market saw a Yuan 25/mt increase
on the same day at Yuan 5,875/mt East China. The Yuan 45/mt increase on the
same day at Yuan 6,130/mt Shandong. Another
source reported that the Chinese propylene price rebounded, supported by a
