Asian butadiene dropped $40/mt between June
1 and June 5 to $740/mt CFR China, the lowest level since January 12, 2022 when
it was assessed as $660/mt. Due to a Singapore public holiday,
the company did not publish its Asia assessments on June 2. Normal
publication resumed on June 5. After June 1, Asian butadiene
markets remained bearish. Several deals were heard at $735/mt FOB China,
$740/mt FBO China and $745/mt FBO China. A cargo
from Southeast Asia was reported to be traded at minus 150/mt based on a CFR
Northeast Asia pricing formula, and FOB Southeast Asia. According
