low density Polyethylene was stable due to thin trading. The slow season for general
polymers was the reason behind the low trading volume. Analysts predict that Asia's recycled PE demand will grow
closer to 5 million mt/year by 2024. In
2023, Asia's demand for recycled PE totaled more than 4 millions, with recycled
HDPE accounting for 70% of the demand. Recycling
plastics may moderate some virgin polymer demands, but the total global deficit
