Prices stable amid mixed feedstocks behavior / Industrial ethanol drops 5 cents per week

On May 21, the US oxysolvents markets was mostly stable, with industrial ethanol prices decreasing and all other price levels remaining stable. On May 21, spot export acetone was priced at $1,433/mt F.O.B. USG. This price was stable for the week. The assessment was at the lower end of the range between mid-high 60 cents/lb (1,433-$1,522/mt). Also, the domestic acetone price was stable at $1,937/mt for the week, reflecting the steadyness of the spot export market. According to sources, there was not much of an increase in demand over the past week. PHENOL: Spot export phenol at $1,100/mt, FOB USG, on May 21, stable for the week.
