In an active, well-supplied market, CFR
North Asia LPG prices rose on May 18, but their increase was less than the
13.04/mt gain in the July ICE Brent crude oil futures. The front-cycle CFR North
Asia June H2 delivery propane was $523/mt, up $9.5/mt in one day. H2 June CFR North Asia was $31.5/mt higher than the June CP. Butane H2 June was assessed as a $5-6/mt discount against
propane. This is unchanged from the previous day. On the 18th of May, there were four bids and an offer on the
physical market. No trades were heard. Mabanaft
& Gunvor bid on a 23,000 mt parcel of propane for H2 June deliveries at
June FEI + $5/mt....
