Asian ABS prices stable amid unchanged market fundamentals / Feedstock prices fell by $12.80/mt in a week / China ABS operating rates fall

The Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styreneCFR China marker stable week on week at $1,410/mt on Nov.20. CFR Southeast Asia was also stable at $1,425/mt for the week, following the CFRChina marker. Producers kept their offer levels the same this week despite higher upstream benzeneand SM prices, as ABSdemand remains weak. This information hasn't been verified by the company. A market source stated that "I do not think the production cuts will have a significant impact on ABS prices, as the supply is still abundant on the market." Upstream, butadiene CFR China was at $1,130/mt and had dropped $130/mt in a week. CFR Chinastyrene Monomer Marker was assessed at $1,033/mt after a decline of $9/mt the previous week.
