on June 19, despite a lack of market activity. CFR Northeast Asia ethylene stable at $715/mt. Last time
the price dropped was on August 20, 2020. After a
Middle East sell tender was reported, there were few discussions on spot prices. Trading
sources say Saudi Arabia's PetroRabigh has awarded the latest tender for 6,000
mt ethylene to be loaded on June 25-26 to a Japanese dealer. Some trading
sources indicated that the cargo could be consumed in the Middle East. A Qatari
end-user was seeking a spot shipment for the H2 June arrival. Polyethylene,
meanwhile, was stable at $930/mt FAR East Asia on June 19, compared with June
