Asia Polyols and Isocyanates - Prices unchanged despite limited trade activity, stable market fundamentals / CFR offers stable for the week / GNFC's TDI Ex-Tank Offer Heard Around Rupee 192/kg

The prices of Asian polymeric diphenyldiisocyanate (PMDI) and slabstock polyols were unchanged in the week ending Dec. 20. There was no significant change to the fundamentals of the market. The price of slabstock polyol was $1,190/mt and PMDI $2,240/mt for the week ending Dec. 20, both unchanged. The CFR India selling indicators for PMDI were unchanged this week. They ranged between $2,250 and $2,300/mt CFR India. A market source said that the market was flat, with little trade activity. It is expected to become quieter towards the end of the year. On Dec. 20, the ex-tank PMDI offered was weak to stable, and heard at Rupees 195 - 198/kg. On December 19, the selling indication was $1,200/mt CFR India for Thai-origin polyol slabstock cargo.
