Asia Polyols and Isocyanates Prices Stable as Buyers Show Limited Interest / Polymeric MDI domestic price heard at Rupees 212/kg / Limited market activity heard

Prices of polymeric methylene diphenyldi isocyanate remained stable over the past week, while rates for containerized freight remained high due to container shortages. The price of slabstock polyol remained unchanged during the same time period. Offers were at the same level throughout the week. CFR India polymeric diphenyldi isocyanate was stable at $2,375/mt on June 21. PMDI offers ranged between $2,380 and $2,500/mt CFR India last week. India ex-tank prices were stable at Rupees 200/kg. Market sources said that producers are likely to raise prices in the next few days due to a rise in container freights. A market source stated that the market discussed container freights at higher rates, with prices ranging from $4,000 to $5,000/TEU for South Korea to India.
