The European polypropylene industry
continued to see a limited demand in the week ending May 10, as participants
were pessimistic because of the sluggish conditions on the market. The spot demand was weak
all through the week, mainly due to the oversupply on the continent. Participants noted a lack of buyer interest across all
derivatives markets due to inflation which is limiting end user consumption. A producer stated that the demand for durables has dropped,
and is now at the same level as the second half 2022 .[ on the construction
side. With long shelf life applications the guys are desperate to move things
