European Diesel Daily Market Analysis / European diesel market softens / USGC Diesel output at 3-week High

The European diesel market dipped Dec. 30 as US exports remained high to Europe. The Northwest European and Mediterranean ULSD freight differentials to ICE LSGO front-month futures both fell by 50 cents/mt each to $12/mt ($7.25/mt) and respectively. According to Sea, Europe will receive 1,80 million mt each of gasoil and diesel from the US before the end of the month. US ultra-low sulfur diesel production rose 203,000 barrels per day to a three week high of 5.087 millions barrels per day in the week ending Dec. 20, according to US Energy Information Administration last week.
