On May 31, Asian paraxylene FOB Korea and CFR Taiwan/China markers were $1,046.67/mt each, down $10.66/mt from the previous day. On May 31, the price of July Brent crude was lower than the previous day, at $81.74/b. This compares to $83.42/b. The C&F Japan Naphtha price fell by $8.75/mt from the previous day. PX-naphtha was at $369.42/mt in May 31. It had narrowed from the previous day's $371.33/mt. On May 31, the Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference in Seoul, South Korea had come to an end.
