Asian orthoxylene will be lower than last week, at $900/mt CIF China, $950/mt FOM Korea and $900/mt CIF Southeast Asia. Laycans are available from February 13 to March 9. In the week ending January 24, there were no transparent offers or bids on the market as the market was quieted in anticipation of the Lunar New Year celebrations. Sources said that the Chinese domestic prices were firmer and stable, with a limited supply for loading in February. OX prices have risen slightly, despite the steady demand in South Asia.
