The week ending June 14, there was still a tight supply of orthoxylene in Asian markets. "Supply right now is quite tight, we can'tbuy spot cargoes from China or South Korea," said one trader. The trader estimated the landed value into India to be$1,210-$1,240/mt."The entire market is now pulled up by India. It makes no sense to sell elsewhere."However buyers in other parts of Asia report that interest in buying is relatively low.
