Asian Orthoxylene Weekly Rationale

Asian orthoxylene was assessed at $1.130/mt
CFR China down $31/mt from the previous week, $48/mt lower at $1.130/mt for FOB
Korea, and $23/mt less at $1.145/mt for CFR Southeast Asia on April 28. CFR China was down $31/mt from last week to
$1,130/mt CFR China. This was below intraday levels because of indications that
China Sinopec's listed price would be corrected and due to lower crude oil
prices. FOB Korea's marker fell $48/mt to $1,130/mt.
This was in accordance with the lower market price of $1,115/mt FOB Korea, for
May/June loading cargo, and also with prices on other destinations like Europe. CFR
Southeast Asia was down $23/mt to $1,145/mt in accordance with the lower prices
on other markets but also considering demand from India.
