FOB China nylon-6 for semi-dull and bright grades was $1,748/mt, down $4/mt from the previous day, but up $5/mt over the past week. This is in line with recent tradable indicators of $1,712-$1,762/mt. Full-dull grades were also assessed at $1798/mt at a $4/mt decrease on the day, but a $5/mt increase over the week, in line with tradable indicators heard at $1762-$1,812/mt. The market sentiment has improved after the Golden Week holiday as the China government announced a number of macro-stimulus policies, said a Chinese manufacturer. "The increase in crude oil price has also helped."
Nylon-66
FOB China Nylon-66 Resin at $2300/mt October 9, unchanged on both the day and the week. This is consistent with the tradable indicators heard at $2282-$2,320/mt. "I think that the economy is improving."...
