The CFR North Asia LPG price rose again on
June 22. This was despite the fact that the Brent crude futures for August had
increased by $5.20/mt since the previous Asian closing. These higher prices,
which were more than three weeks old, dampened the appetite of China-based
purchasers who sought cargoes through tenders. CFR North Asia H2 delivery
propane was $523/mt on June 22, an increase of $19/mt from the previous day. On June 22, the premium for H2 July CFR North Asia over the
contract price of July rose by $9.50/mt. The
premium of H1 August CFR North Asia over the August CP rose $14/mt on a
day-to-day basis to $71/mt. Butane's
discount to propane fell $1/mt...
