On June 15, Asian isomerized mixed xylene
fell $14.50/mt from $870/mt to $870/mt, $889/mt to $889/mt for CFR Unv1,
$890/mt to $890/mt for CFR China. This was in line with the lower prices both
upstream and downstream. In Asian trade at 0830 GMT, August
ICE Brent crude futures fell $1.41/b to $73.74/b. Paraxylene was down $14/mt to
$993/mt for CFR Unv1/China. Asian MX was closely following
movements on related markets. A trader stated that market participants were
waiting and watching. Toluene for gasoline blending was being actively
traded, and ready for shipment to the US. A trader
stated that arbitrage demand for MX was currently low, because prices are still
