According to feedback from the market, spot pricing for US Gulf Coast Methanol was stable on 6 June. M2 offers were flat and there were no bids or offers for M1. The market heard July being offered at 103c/gal FOB ITC. This is the same offer level as June 3. For the sixth day in a row, no bids or offers for June spot methanol were heard. On June 6, June spot methanol was at 98 cents/gal FOM USG, unchanged from the previous day and 1 cent lower than July spot methanol. The Natgasoline turnaround that began in the first week of may and was originally scheduled to last four weeks has had a minimal impact on spot prices for methanol, or downstream derivatives.
