On May 29, the Asian benzene markets grew a
little bit, thanks to some upstream sectors. FOB Korea's benzene marker
rose $12/mt per day to $857.67/mt on May 29. East China's domestic market edged upwards, as H2 June
laycans were last heard trading between Yuan 6,720-6750/mt. A source said that a few deals occurred during the day
between Yuan 6,710-6.740/mt. Cash
differentials on the floating market remained negative for July FOB Korea
loading cargoes based on the Weekly Mean of Korea benzene price in June. Volumes ranged between 3,000 mt and 9,000 mt. Bids and
