US Gulf Coast methanol was assessed as stable on June 4, at 98 cents/gal, FOB USG, or $326.34/mt. This is due to the market's feedback that fundamentals are stable and there were no trades done. According to a source in the market, the joint venture between Proman and OCI Natgasoline in Beaumont, Texas will be in turnaround until mid June. A market source stated that the turnaround, which began in early May was expected to last for four weeks. OCI Global declined comment on this matter June 4. According to feedback from the market, a July offer was made at 103 cents/gal ITC FOB, and a second source confirmed this.
