Asian MTBE: Prices and cracks of gasoline are rising in tandem with MTBE prices / FOB China cargoes are traded between $690 and $710/mt / Gasoline Crack rises from $9.65/b to $9.99/b

MTBE FOB Singapore Asian was up $0.5/mt on Dec. 13 compared to $9.65/mt the previous day, while the MTBE factor remained unchanged at 1.039 for the same time period. The crack for 92RON gasoline continued to rise Dec. 13 to $9.99/b, up from $9.65/b. The assessment of 92RON gasoline also increased slightly from $83.44/b to $83.52/b. The MTBE price has seen some support, as many trades were heard this week. This was especially true in the past two to three days, including December 13. The range of $690-710/mt FOB China was traded for cargoes to be loaded in late January. One cargo was traded at $690/mt earlier in the week. Later this week the levels reached $700/mt.
