Asian MTBE : Market week slow due to few trades heard / Trade heard on Nov MTBE FOB Singapore plus $14/mt, CFR Singapore / Market players struggle to find trading opportunity

MTBE FOB Singapore Asian was down $10/mt to $739/mt, while the MTBE factor at 1.108 remained unchanged from day to day. On Oct. 25, 92RON gasoline fell day over day to $78.90/b (down from $79.98/b), while the crack of 92RON gasoline to Brent crude oil increased day over day from $3.95/b to $4.55/b. A trade was done for arrival cargo in November at MTBE FOB Singapore, Nov monthly average plus $13/mt CFR Singapore. Sources said Chinese selling ideas for cargo in December were still around $710-$720/mt, FOB China. However, at least one large Chinese manufacturer was able sell cargoes on a cheap basis.
