Asian MTBE: MTBE rises as market negotiates contracts for 2025 / Taiwan's CPC awards three traders a tender / South Korean term contracts mainly domestic

MTBE FOB Singapore Asian up $8.50/mt to $719/mt on Nov. 22. The MTBE factor at 1.059 was unchanged from day to day. The price of 92RON gasoline was higher day over day, at $80.32/b in November 22 from $79.38/b. However, the crack rate for 92RON gasoline to Brent crude oil fell day over day from $5.82/b to $5.54/b. The price of Asian MTE was $719/mt, up from $682/mt at FOB Singapore. The entire week, there were no offers or bids on the Market on Close assessment. Participants in the Asian market were negotiating term contracts until 2025. Contract negotiations were underway for the Southeast Asia Market, involving Malaysia, Philippines, and Indonesia.
