Asian MTBE: Falls $8.50/mt amid lower crude / Gasoline RON 92 margin shrinks / China's gasoline demand is expected to increase in January

The February ICE Brent crude oil futures fell $0.43/b to $72.09/b at 0830 GMT in Asian trade. In Asian trade, February ICE Brent futures dropped $0.43/b from $72.09/b to $830 GMT. The spread between RON 92 FCB Singapore gasoline to February ICE Brent futures shrank by 6.39% down to $7.76/b. A Chinese source stated that the Lunar New Year holiday at the end January will result in a better demand for gasoline from China than it was during December. A trader in Singapore stated that traders and buyers had a good supply of cargo for the first half of January, but the demand should continue for the second half.
