The US MTBE differential with gasoline
dropped by over a third in April, ahead the arrival of a Saudi cargo
expected within the next few days. The MTBE Premium to NYMEX may RBOB was
21.20 cents/gal. This premium had shrunk by 11.80 cents (or 36%)
day-on-day. May
RBOB closed 2.31 cents below day-on-day at 275.09cents/gal. The outright price
dropped by 14.11 cents, following a drop in gasoline futures. The price of gasoline futures has fallen by 8.5 cents/gal,
or 3%, in two sessions since the 14th of April.
