Asian MMA prices remained steady week-over-week at $1.500/ mt CFR China January 28 and $1.610/ mt CFR Southeast Asia. The Lunar New Year holiday season began in China and Asia this week, and market participants have already started to take holidays. Sources in the market said there were either no offers coming from China or that the offer was still at $1,500/mt F.O.B. China. There were few offers coming from China. A source in China said that there were few prices to use as a reference on the market. Taiwan's market was quiet, and a major producer has not yet offered any cargo for February.
