April 5. PMMA CFR China was up $50/mt at 1,890/mt, and CFR Southeast Asia was
unchanged at $2,140/mt during the same period. Market participants claim
that MMA supply in Asia was tight due to a shortage of feedstock. This has
caused MMA plants to lower their operating rates as feedstock prices rise. MMA is typically made from Methacrylic acid (MAA) and
