CFR China remained unchanged at $1,300/mt on Wednesday, March 8, and $1,550/mt
on March 8. Also, PMMA CFR China remained unchanged at $1.810/mt on Tuesday,
and PMMA CFR Southeast Asia remained unchanged at $2,150/mt on
Wednesday. Sources say that MMA market participants saw more trade
movement between Asia and Europe due to higher demand and a wider price margin
than in Southeast Asia. MMA offers were received for April loading at
$1,300-1,400/mt FOB Korea. This was for 500 mt to European destinations. A
South Korean producer stated that spot trades were done at $1,300/mt FOB Korea
and 1,000 mt for March loading into Europe. According to the producer,
"Demand is low in Asia...
