Prices for polyethylene were unchanged in Mexico this week, regardless of the grade. This is pending confirmation that prices have increased. Sources said that the trading sentiment was mixed due to uncertainty caused by delays in material delivery from the US. Sources on the market said that some clients were placing orders, and others were being cautious. Another source reported that the market activity had also been limited in the last week, as buyers built up their inventories before Braskem Idesa's and Dow Chemical's price increases for August material.
