The fundamentals of methanol in India are weak, and prices were stable or slightly lower on Nov. 8, amid expectations that a number of Iranian cargoes will likely keep port supplies intact throughout November. Market participants have not yet begun actively discussing cargoes arriving in December. "Several Iranian cargoes, which were delayed in October, will now arrive in Novembre. Iran loading port delays are down from 15-20 days to 8-10 days and will likely normalize within the next few weeks. "A vessel that was loaded in October is still at Assaluyeh," said an Indian importer. Another trader said that several MR-sized ships are expected in Indian ports, which would help keep inventories in good shape in November and December.
