China's methanol stockpile increases by 0.59% in a week / Indian domestic sellers are under pressure to sell in order to avoid extra storage fees

The CFR China methanol price fell $2.50/mt to $302.50/mt as the domestic methanol market in east China was lower on June 6. The day's price of Yuan 30, or $4.16/mt was lower than the previous day, at Yuan 2,595-2605/mt. The discussions for spot cargoes have moved on to July. However, there were few bids or offers heard on June 6. A trader stated that buyers are unsure about the direction of the market's price. Data from Longzhong Information Services on June 5 show that methanol inventories along China's eastern and southern coasts increased marginally by 0.59% over the past week to 618.400 mt. Trade sources say that the low inventory should prevent CFR China methanol from falling further. India's domestic ex-tank price was lower by Rupee 0.25/kg. Offers were heard...
