monoethylene glycol import prices were stable March 24 amid thin trade, sources
said. Diethylene glycol (DEG) and triethylene glycol (TEG), coproducts in the
manufacture of MEG from ethylene oxide, were heard to be selling well, rather
than MEG, according to producers. Trade patterns were changing to more
localized production within Asia. Traders said that more US supply is expected
by the end of the year once new plants start. Middle East exports to Asia were
