The trading session was characterized by a lack of discussion. Asian benzene fell 50 cents/mt to $1,025/mt. The front-month ICE Brent futures dropped 39 cents/b compared with the previous session, closing at $82.72/b in the Asian session. The naphtha Japan C+F marker fell $5.125/mt in one day to $658.75/mt. The trading session was relatively quiet on the FOB Korean market. The majority of discussions were on an outright basis centered around cargoes loaded in July, although a few offers for cargoes loaded in H2 June were heard. The floating price discussions for cargoes loaded in July also picked up. A deal was concluded at the July weekly Mean of Korea Base Price (wMOPK).
