Low bids on H2 FOB China cargo / FOB China offers higher

Asian MTBE FOB Singapore was up $1/mt per day to $982/mt by April 24. Source: Chinese buyers wanted to sell cargoes both to Asian and domestic customers, but Asian FOB Singapore buying ideas were still low. Source: A bid of $925/mt was heard for a 10,000 mt FOB China May loading cargo, but selling ideas on the day were higher. China sellers are keen to sell domestically because they can get a much higher price. Sources said June buying and sales indications ranged between $950s/mt, and $980-$990/mt for FOB North China. Another source, however, said that the market is still quiet. On April 24, there were no offers or bids in the MOC, but the price was slightly higher. The assessment was up $1/mt from day to day at $982/mt....
