Lotte Chemical launches SM plant

Lotte Chemical's Styrene Monomer (SM), plant has resumed operation. Sources in South Korea told a member of the team that "the company restarted its plant on March 2,2025." The plant had a short turnaround on February 25th, 2025. Located in Daesan (South Korea), the SM facility has a capacity of 580,000 mt/year.
