Asia LLDPE: Prices stable in quiet holiday trading- Export orders from the US and Europe to India are
declining- Indian producers struggling to make marginsThe price of Asian butene grade linear low
density polyethylene was $5/mt more than the previous week, at $965/mt CFR Far
East Asia on May 3. CFR Southeast Asia's marker was stable at $1020/mt. Sources said that even
though a new calendar month had begun, there were fewer offers on the market
because some countries were in holiday mode due to Golden Week. A trader from India stated, "I'm very surprised that
there aren't any good offers." Export
orders from India, particularly those coming from the US and Europe have
