low-density polyethylene prices remained stable to lower during the week ending
April 5. Ethane continued its dominance as the main PE feedstock, with an
increase of around 1% in 2023 to 42%. Producers said this would be due to
an increased number of ethane based steam crackers. Average 35% of PE
feedstocks would be Naphtha, which will be second. The data revealed that
PE would account approximately 62% of the ethylene demand for 2023. This is
